Galveston Bay House

A new custom home on the bay, planned from bare framing to the finished rooms.

Open living room with a wall-mounted TV above a linear fireplace, white walls, wood ceiling beams, and a glass pendant light

The ask

Technology planned into a new custom home from the start, so it disappears into the design once the walls are finished.

Back of a new yellow siding house at framing stage, with an unfinished wood deck and bay-view windows
Open wall framing and ceiling joists with blue electrical boxes and rough-in wiring before drywall

Before: the house at framing

During the build

We ran the low-voltage wiring while the walls were open, coordinating with the builder so nothing had to be patched in later.

TV mounted in a recessed stone-textured fireplace surround with wiring outlets below, during construction
Wall-mounted TV on a wood-plank feature wall between a doorway and a window, during construction
Two wall-mounted TVs set into a wood-paneled recess on a textured wall beside a large black-framed window, during construction

The finished home

Clean walls, quiet equipment, and rooms that work the way the owners live.

Open kitchen, dining, and living area with a black-and-white geometric accent wall, glass pendant lights, and wood ceiling beams
Game room with a foosball table, arcade cabinet, and a wall-mounted TV set into built-in shelving
Bedroom with a modern linear chandelier, a wall-mounted TV, and a console table
